Who is responsible

Skilld Design, the registered company of Neil de la Harpe, Cape Town, South Africa, is responsible for information collected through this site. Contact: webcontact@skilld.design.

The contact form

If you use the form, your name, email address and the details you write are sent by email to Neil so he can reply. Nothing is stored in a database on this site, and the details are not passed to any third party. They are kept in the email inbox for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting work.

Email, phone and WhatsApp

If you email, phone or message on WhatsApp, the details you share are used only to reply to you and to carry out any agreed work. WhatsApp is operated by Meta and has its own privacy terms.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used: which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are from, and whether the email, phone or contact form links are used. It is used only to see whether the site is being found and visited. The information is never sold, shared for advertising or used to identify you personally. It uses cookies and an anonymised IP address. You can block it with your browser settings or a tracking blocker, or use Google's opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Fonts and hosting

Fonts and images are served from this site itself. The site is hosted on a web server in a standard hosting environment, which keeps ordinary access logs for security.

Your rights

Under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), and the GDPR where it applies, you may ask to see, correct or delete the personal information held about you. Email webcontact@skilld.design and it will be dealt with directly. You may also complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.
